Eeeek have had this done on my thigh.luckily it was what they call 'in situ. so it hadnt spread its evil wings! Very traumatic .hang in there, you will be in the best hands! and definitely be very careful of your wound, shin wounds can be a bugger to heal! Beauty_spot20, Feb 9, 2012, 9:20 am

Thank you all so much, it helps to hear from others who have traveled the journey and from those who send encouraging words. Today as been a mixture of emotions I have time when I feel strong and feel ok then other when something goes wrong I feel like cryingat the drop of a hat, not liking this emotional roller coaster at all. I guess it is a small price to pay when it gives me a fighting chance. Thank you for your posts. I wish you well nfh1. Thank you Annie it is my precious 9 yr old that I worry for. I will do any thing to have what ever precious time I have. My hope is that I get the opportunity to see him grow up. Feb 20th yet to be confirmed will know on Tuesday. I plan on having huge clean up in house and garden over next two weekends and making up meals to put in freezer so it will make it easier for hubby while he is working and Iam in hospital. kiwinz1 have just read your post. I am going thru what you are having done but mine is on my foot.My operation is this tuesday afternoon after my pre assesment tomorrow at the hospital.I have had the melanoma taken out now they want to go deeper and a skin graft.I went thru quite a few emotions when I first heard. They said I would be in hospital with my foot in plaster for 5 nights then another week off work at home.hope all goes well for your operation.Bazza Beauty_razza04, Feb 9, 2012, 10:01 pm
